  1. So have you encountered a low-country dish called “chicken bog”? It’s the ultimate comfort food. Think rice, chicken, sausage & a couple other ingredients traditionally cooked in an iron kettle to a very moist, almost-soupy consistency. Strictly local to the S.C. low country. I can provide a recipe if desired. (I’m the Chicago Yankee with ties to Latta SC who tweeted you earlier today.)
